A wide array of evening and weekend events are offered throughout the year for children, adults, and families, including the American Heritage Festival, the "Chili" Winter Evening and Sleigh Ride and the Wildflower Weekend.

Wildflower Weekend
  • Saturday & Sunday, May 8 & 9, 2010
    A celebration of nature and the arts
    9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nature art show, naturalist led wildflower walks, pancake breakfast, plant sale and much more!
    Admission: Non-Members $7, Members $5, Children 12 and under $3.

Mystery Dinner Theatre

  • "Clowning Around"
    Friday, March 19, 6 p.m. Woldumar Nature Center will host “Clowning Around,” a Murder Mystery Dinner Theater presented by the Dimondale Players. Actors mingle with guests as they eat and give clues about the crime. After dessert is served, a representative from each table will announce who they believe did the dirty deed and why! Beware…the actors cannot be trusted to tell the truth. They do, however, guarantee to give an answer of some sort to all questions. Join together with friends and family to help unravel the mystery while you dine.
    Cost: $35 for Woldumar members, $40 for non-members. Tables seat eight guests and can be purchased at a discounted rate. Reservations must be made in advance by calling Woldumar Nature Center at (517) 322-0030.



    • Community Programs

  • "Where's Spring"
    Bird songs, flowing tree sap, weird weather and more. Join a naturalist for an exciting muddy exploration hike. Cost: $2/members; $4/non-members
  • Moon Log Cabin
    Costumed Docents offer tours of the cabin on Community Program Days. No fee. Next tour will be during Chili Winter Evening. The cabin is always open during the American Heritage Festival and other special events.
