Calendar of Special EventsA wide array of major evening and weekend events are offered throughout the year for children, adults, and families, including the American Heritage Festival, the "Chili" Winter Evening and Sleigh Ride and the Spring Celebration.50th Anniversary WeekendPetals & Vines Friday, May 10, 6-11 p.m.50th Anniversary Saturday, May 11, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Friday "Petals & Vines" will feature a locally made beer and wine tasting fundraiser. We will provide tastings from a selection of craft beers and wines from Michigan breweries and wineries. Dinner and live music is included in the cost of admission. On Saturday- enjoy spring! This May Woldumar is hosting a celebration of nature and nature-education. Join us for a variety of activities throughout the day, including a GeoCache challenge, naturalist-guided wildflower hikes, eco pontoon boat tours of the Grand River, native plant and birdseed sales, Moon Cabin tours, a variety of expert-led nature workshops and much more. We will also be celebrating Woldumar Nature Association's 50th Birthday! Stop by at 1 pm for the offical birthday ceremony. Get out, explore, learn and enjoy the changing of the season on 178 beautiful acres! Native Plant Guide (For a full list of native plants please see the order form) FREE to the public! Some activities may require a small materials fee. Attention Educators: If you have specialized knowledge about any nature-themed subject, please consider participating in our series of Nature Workshops throughout the day.
