ProgramsSchool children come here to participate in ongoing school programs such as special field trips, Traveling Naturalist programs , and Project GREEN (in which local high school students contribute to the study of the Grand River Watershed by testing water at various sites over time). These programs are designed to correlate with the Michigan Education Department's essential goals and objectives for science education, and to assist teachers in meeting additional goals in social studies, math, history, and language arts.
Community programs are offered year-round to the public. Providing environmental education through monthly programs (held every third Saturday). Each program focuses on a unique nature subject or outdoor activity, including: GeoCaching, EcoTours on the Grand River, Live Owl presentations and much more.
Additionally, Woldumar offers spring, summer, and winter nature-based day camps. Check out the camp page for more information and registration!
