Summer Camp
Director's Note

As the Education Coordinator at Woldumar, I have the year round privilege of educating people of all ages about the natural environment through school field trips, community programs, events and more.
Summer camp, however, is my favorite part of the job. At camp, not only do we have the opportunity to teach youth about the environment,
but we also help them learn about themselves. Campers learn about nature, science, teamwork, leadership, and communication. Campers are able to grow and we get to see that growth as it happens.
The experiences children have at camp and in the outdoors are experiences that will stay with them throughout life. Campers will gain understanding and appreciation of the natural world and of society.
Woldumar’s camps focus on nature education while helping children stay active and engaged in a fun, nurturing, and safe environment.
As always if you have any questions, suggestions or concerns please contact me directly at lena@woldumar.org or (517) 322-0030.
I look forward to sharing this summer and all the new additions to our camp programs with your children.
