Nature Themed Birthday Parties at Woldumar!
Rockroom Birthday Party
Come celebrate your big day with us and you'll make memories that last a lifetime! All birthday party rentals include: two hours rental of an indoor or outdoor space for up to 25 people (plus set up and clean up time), one theme-based program with a staff naturalist, and use of refrigerator and freezer, tables and chairs. You must provide your own table linens & party decorations.
Fees: $150.00 member / $180.00 non-member.
Four easy steps to arrange your child's next birthday party at Woldumar!
1. Pick a Theme

Celebrate your birthday with a visit to our Moon Log Cabin which was built 150 years ago! Learn what life was like for pioneer children your age and play some of the games they would have played. - Nature Detectives
Grab your magnifying glass and hit the trails with a Woldumar Naturalist. This adventurous party will let you explore your five senses out in nature with your friends. - Pond Pals
Spend the afternoon pond dipping with your pals! This birthday party will teach you about different macro-invertebrate in our very own woodland pond. - Nature Survival
See if you and your friends have what it takes to survive in the wild! Learn the basic skills needed to survive a night alone in the wilderness. Children will learn to build a fire and shelter. This party includes a 45 minute hike to the pine forest.
2. Pick a Location
The Rock Room in Woldumar's Visitors Center is a favorite for children's birthday parties!
For an outdoor party, the Pavilion provides shelter with lots of space for running!
The upper deck off the barn's second floor provides an overview of the central part of the Woldumar campus for your party's vista!
The patio adjacent to the barn provides easy access as well as being sheltered and spacious.
3. Pick Two Activities
Each party will include two activities for the children. You choose whether it will be:
- A hike
- A craft
- A game
You may select all three for an additional fee of $50.00
