Kevin Goodwin - Chair

Kevin is an Aquatic Biology Specialist for Michigan's Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy where he has worked monitoring and reporting on water quality in streams, inland lakes, wetlands, and the Great Lakes around the state for over 20 years. Michigan's water resources are unparalleled and he feels fortunate to have a role in their protection. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, hunting, mountain biking, and spending time outside (or inside) with his family.

Melissa Phipps - Vice Chair

Melissa is employed by General Motors as a Sustainable Materials Engineer, where she works to increase circularity and decrease the carbon footprint of GM vehicles. Melissa graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a Masters of Science in Sustainable Management, and in her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, outdoor sports, reading and knitting.

Ann Hasen - Secretary

Ann Hasen worked for several years as a controller in the banking industry before accepting a position at MSU, her alma mater, as an AP auditor for the University Procurement and Logistics Department. She lives in Lansing with her husband and two cats. In her free time she enjoys being outside, running, biking or simply walking through the woods listening to the birds.

Randy Flick - Board Member

Randy is an award winning Digital Media Producer at Cheeney Media Concepts in Lansing MI. With 19 years of experience, Randy has specialized in project management, producing/directing, live and studio videography, photography, live-streaming, and editing and has produced content for organizations such as ABC, NBC, PBS, Michigan Department of Education, and Michigan State University. In his free time, he enjoys reading and collecting Marvel comics.

Jason Wilkinson - Treasurer

Jason works for the State of Michigan and is also an officer in the Navy Reserve. His family loves to stay connected with Woldumar, which is literally in their backyard.

Judy Gigante - Board Member & Volunteer Coordinator

Grounds & Facilities Committee Chair / DEI Committee

Judy is a graduate of MSU & retired from Electronic Data Systems in 2003 after 18 years. She has been an active volunteer at Woldumar in various capacities since 2005. Currently volunteering as Volunteer Coordinator and an active member of Woldumar's Grounds and Facilities Committee. In her spare time she golfs, travels and spends time with her grandchildren.

Stephaney Keroson - Board Member

Stephaney first discovered Woldumar as a Fisheries and Wildlife Management student at MSU. A few years later she was hired to head up Woldumar's Project GREEN, a collaborative effort between Woldumar and General Motors to bring water quality education to area students. Stephaney currently lives in Lansing and works as a bookkeeper for the Meridian Township Treasurer.

Mary Louks - Board Member

Mary brings over a decade of non-profit experience specializing in events; marketing and strategic engagement; and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I). In 2023 she ended her nine-year career at The Nature Conservancy (TNC) to take on a new adventure as Director of Events and Engagement at Clean Air Task Force. Mary is a graduate of Western Michigan University, and enjoys being a Mom, spending time on the Great Lakes, getting lost in a good book, and overly adoring her ginger cat.

Alaina Nelson - Board Member

Alaina Nelson is an associate attorney at Foster Swift Collins & Smith and practices in Trusts & Estates. Alaina lives in Lansing with her husband and dog. In her free time, Alaina enjoys kayaking and looking after her house plants.
