Woldumar Nature Center sits on over 180 acres of woodland, prairie and wetland terrains, with over a mile of shoreline on the Grand River. Woldumar’s location provides us with opportunities to engage in environmental education, preservation and conservation efforts available to the Greater Lansing area. Walk on our trails and observe the new and exciting differences during each season of the year. Each family member can find something of interest here!

Driving Directions

From 496: Take Waverly Road Exit. Turn South on Waverly Rd and follow about mile to Old Lansing Road. Turn right on Old Lansing Rd and look for us 2 miles down on the left.

From 96: Take the Lansing Road North Exit (98B). Go straight at the light at Creyts Road and veer to the right onto Old Lansing Rd (you’ll see a Woldumar sign). You’ll see us about mile down on the right.

Parking: Please park only in the designated parking lot. The rounded drive is reserved for pick up/drop off only.

Hours of Operation

Public restrooms are available when staff is on site:

  • Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
  • Saturday 10am-5pm
  • Sunday 12pm-3pm

Closed all major holidays.

Hours may vary during special programs and special events.

  • Open dawn to dusk, 365 days a year. Trail Maps are available at the Visitor Center and at the Trail Head. There is a suggested $2.00 donation for non-member use of Woldumar's trails.
